This project was inspired by the works of Terry Haggerty, Mowgli Omari and Laurie Kang. Particular pieces such as 'A Blank Between' (Haggerty) and the 'Virtual Horizon' series (Omari) were key pieces of inspiration. I drew inspiration from the sculptural shapes and bold colour palettes created in these pieces and combined both artists works. I wanted to literally translate the sculptural shapes Omari uses and the stripes and shapes created by Haggerty and this resulted in shaping Omari's sculptured pieces in foam and draping Haggerty's stripes from these shapes. The results were outfits that were striking, bold, sculptural and with a clean aesthetic.
